Catherine was born & raised in Muskogee. In the late 1980's she moved to Tulsa. Her immediate "family" consists of three service dogs & several cockatiels. She earned college degrees from Oklahoma State Univ., Rogers State Univ. & Tulsa Com. College, one Bachelors and two Associates degrees; majors in Fine Art & Photography.
Catherine's work history is as a small business owner and poly-career professional. When she was young her father taught her how to work with her hands. Whether it was helping him fix the family car or doing home repairs. Her problem solving skills and artistic creativity have been very helpful in all aspects of her work career and community service work.
Her main career experience is in photography and construction. Interspersed with service dog training and volunteering, farmer's market management & numerous community service activities. Catherine's home repair experience evolved into multifamily housing construction supervisor, to photographing bridge and road construction photography.
Catherine has extensive volunteer experience. She has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity Her House, Tulsa County Democratic Party, Resonance Center for Women photography workshop coordinator/facilitator, registered therapy dog team volunteering for Tulsa County District Attorney Court Dog Program, Paws to Read library reading programs for children, and hospital/nursing home/rehabilitation care visits.
